Job summary

McLean Farms, a family-owned agribusiness based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes SW of Toowoomba, is seeking a property maintenance role. The successful candidate will perform grass mowing, vegetation control, irrigation setup and routine garden maintenance, with opportunities to handle machinery and farm assets.

We value reliability, punctuality and a cooperative team spirit to support our livestock and grain operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in grass slashing and general property maintenance.
• Current valid drivers’ licence is required.
• HR licence and tractor experience are desirable but not essential.
• ACDC ticket desirable but not essential.
• Be able to work as part of a team and autonomously when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adherence to safety and biosecurity.

Responsibilities

• Regular mowing of grassed areas and vegetation control.
• Establishing and maintaining garden beds and trees.
• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Maintaining equipment and vehicles.
• Operating machinery where licenced.
• Assisting with pest control and livestock movement as required.
