Job summary

McLean Farms, a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, is seeking a maintenance-orientated individual. You will conduct preventive inspections, attend to breakdowns, and ensure equipment compliance with safety standards.

You’ll document activities and carry out minor repairs across farm machinery and systems. Successful candidates bring maintenance experience, strong organisation, data analysis ability, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis to support farm management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with staff, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections.
• Attend to breakdowns and assist with general repairs.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and infrastructure for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out pre-start checks on farm equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs and servicing.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to farm machinery and equipment.
