Job summary

Wem Civil is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer with precast concrete expertise to join our remote team, delivering designs for global clients from your home office.

You will design precast products, produce Issued For Manufacture drawings, perform advanced structural analyses, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of proven experience in structural engineering with precast concrete.
• Proficiency in CAD software and producing detailed drawings for manufacture.
• Strong understanding of concrete design principles and industry standards.
• Experience with FEM software and BIM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative precast concrete products.
• Create and review Detailed structural drawings and Issued For Manufacture docs.
• Contribute to New Product Development from concept to implementation.
• Perform advanced structural calculations for complex precast elements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize design efficiency.

The Role

• Strong understanding of concrete structure design principles and industry standards.
• Experience with finite element analysis software and BIM concepts.

Requirements

• A fully equipped home office (desktop/laptop, headset, stable internet connection, webcam).
