Job summary

JMac Constructions, part of the BMD Group, is seeking an experienced Landscape Leading Hand to support North Queensland projects. You will supervise landscape activities, coordinate with the Foreman, and ensure delivery aligns with drawings, specs and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated supervision experience in commercial landscaping, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams including labour, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve client objectives.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.
• Proven ability to motivate and drive team culture focused on delivery of client objectives.
• People and performance management skills of labour, subcontractors and suppliers to drive high performing teams.
• Demonstrated industry experience as a site supervisor in commercial scale landscaping.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous relevant experience working on hardscape / softscape projects is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Foreman to monitor and drive construction progress to program and in line with drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.
• Champion a safe work environment with a Zero Harm approach and ensure superior delivery of projects.
