Job summary

Local Workforce Hire on the Gold Coast is seeking a Landscape Gardening Assistant to support our field teams with general labouring duties, site prep, and basic carpentry tasks. Immediate start with consistent shifts and weekly pay.

You’ll work across commercial and residential landscaping, warehouse fit-outs, and shopfitting projects, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and physical fitness. Previous labouring or trade assistant experience is preferred, plus a Construction White Card

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
