Job summary

GemLife is expanding its Moreton Bay resort development and seeks an experienced Construction Landscaper to deliver high-quality landscapes across new construction areas and community spaces. The role starts as casual and will move into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include planting, hard/soft landscaping, garden maintenance, site clean-up, and potential small excavator operation if licensed. Ongoing opportunity within a growing Queensland/national portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscaping experience in construction or commercial settings.
• White Card and a current driver’s licence are required.
• Strong work ethic with a team-focused attitude and reliability.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to safe worksites and procedures.
• Plant operating tickets are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Tree and shrub planting as part of landscaped developments.
• Execute soft and hard landscaping works across new and existing spaces.
• General garden maintenance including pruning, hedging, mulching, irrigation and lawn care.
• Site clean-up and upkeep of outdoor areas to high standards.
• Operate small excavators if licensed and required.

About the Role

Working on our expanding Moreton Bay resort development, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality landscaped environments across new construction areas and established community spaces. While this role starts out as a casual position, it will move into a permanent role for the successful person.

Duties include:

• Tree and shrub planting
• Soft and hard landscaping works
• General garden maintenance including pruning, hedging, mulching, irrigation and lawn care
• Site clean-up and upkeep of outdoor areas
• Small excavator operation (if licensed)

About You

• 2+ years' landscaping experience (construction or commercial preferred)
• White Card and current driver's licence
• Strong work ethic and team-focused attitude
• Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious
• Plant operating tickets advantageous but not essential
