Job summary

Wildflora is seeking a Landscape Assistant to join our Perth team. This full-time role supports landscape projects from conception through completion, working alongside experienced landscapers to develop skills and deliver high-quality outdoor spaces for clients.

You will assist with site preparation, planting, and installing landscape features, while maintaining safety and cleanliness on site. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to perform manual labour outdoors
• Willingness to learn gardening and landscaping practices
• Reliable, punctual, and commit to high work standards
• Good communication; works well in a team
• Experience in landscaping, gardening or construction is advantageous
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and maintenance of landscape sites (clearing, levelling, ground prep)
• Support installation of pathways, paving, planting beds and garden structures
• Assist planting and positioning of plants, shrubs and trees per design specs
• Operate and maintain basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
• Help maintain high standards of worksite cleanliness and organisation
• Assist with removal and disposal of waste materials and debris
• Support landscape maintenance (weeding, mulching, edging, garden upkeep)
• Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
• Work with team to meet project deadlines and client expectations

About the role

Wildflora is seeking a Landscape Assistant to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based in Perth WA 6000. As a Landscape Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our landscape projects from conception through completion. You will work alongside experienced landscapers and supervisors to develop your skills whilst contributing to the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of landscape sites, including site clearing, levelling and ground preparation
• Support the installation of landscape features such as pathways, paving, planting beds and garden structures
• Assist with the planting and positioning of plants, shrubs and trees according to design specifications
• Operate and maintain basic landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Assist with the removal and disposal of waste materials and garden debris
• Support landscape maintenance activities including weeding, mulching, edging and general garden upkeep
• Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations
