Job summary

Feature Landscape Group in Knoxfield, VIC is seeking a motivated Landscape Apprentice to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role provides hands-on learning across essential landscaping tasks and design projects, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will gain practical skills in decking, paving, retaining walls, irrigation and plant care, while contributing to outdoor spaces for clients.

Qualifications

• Interest in horticulture, gardening, or landscaping.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced landscapers in construction and maintenance of landscapes, gardens and outdoor spaces.
• Develop skills in decking, paving, retaining walls, concreting and soft scaping including irrigation systems, plants and garden beds.
• Gain hands-on experience with landscaping tools and equipment.

Feature Landscape Group is currently seeking a motivated and aspiring individual to join our team as a Landscape Apprentice. This full-time position is based in Knoxfield, VIC and will provide you with the opportunity to learn and grow within the landscaping industry.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced landscapers in the construction and maintenance of landscapes, gardens and outdoor spaces

Developing practical skills in areas such as decking, paving, retaining walls, concreting and soft scaping ie. irrigation systems, plants and garden beds

Gaining hands‑on experience in the use of landscaping tools and equipment

Participating in the planning and implementation of landscape design projects

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

A passion for the outdoors and an interest in horticulture, gardening, or landscaping

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

A keen eye for design and an understanding of landscape aesthetics

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
