Job summary

Stockland seeks a seasoned Construction Director to lead one of Sydney's most significant developments. You will shape strategy, drive delivery across feasibility, design, procurement, and handover, and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships with government authorities and industry partners.

You will influence decisions on safety, buildability, cost, and program, ensuring long-term asset performance and customer value while bringing visibility to governance and risk management across the project

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex developments.
• Strong capability across planning, buildability and procurement.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction and procurement strategies for early works and staged delivery, focusing on high-performing assets.
• Provide strategic input on planning pathways, staging, programming and delivery models.
• Establish governance with clear program logic, accountability and information quality.
• Review and challenge cost plans, contractor proposals and risk to protect returns.
• Lead input into market sounding, procurement, tender evaluation and supplier engagement.
• Identify and escalate material delivery risks including latent conditions, approvals and cost escalation.
• Champion safety, quality, sustainability, contractor compliance and operational readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
