Job description

Port Plumbing is looking for a reliable, hard-working general labourer to join our plumbing team in Port Macquarie.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role assisting our plumbers in the field. The work is varied and includes manual excavation and digging, concrete cutting and jackhammering, concreting, assisting plumbers with pipework and installations, loading/unloading materials, and keeping our workshop and vehicles clean and organised.

There is regular heavy lifting and outdoor work involved, so you need to be physically fit and comfortable with manual work.

Previous experience in plumbing, construction, landscaping, concreting or another building trade would be highly regarded, but plumbing experience is not essential. A good work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.

This is a long-term position for the right person. The role will initially be casual with consistent full-time hours, with the opportunity to move to permanent full-time employment once you have proven yourself in the role. Paid overtime is regularly available for those who want it.
