Job summary

Ballarat Golf Club is seeking a reliable Labourer to join our Course Maintenance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for an ongoing role. This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting our Greenkeeping team with the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the golf course.

Previous golf course or turf experience is not essential, with training provided for the right person. You’ll assist with bunker maintenance, turf works, seeding and general grounds care across the course

• Training provided; golf course or turf experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Greenkeeping team with general course maintenance and presentation.
• General labouring duties across the golf course and surrounding areas.
• Assist with bunker maintenance, including raking, edging and moving sand.
• Assist with turf repairs, seeding, laying turf and renovation works.
• General gardening, landscaping and vegetation maintenance.
• Use hand tools, power tools and course maintenance equipment as required.
• Assist with the set-up and preparation of the course for competitions and events.

This is a hands‑on outdoor role supporting our Greenkeeping team with the day‑to‑day maintenance and presentation of the golf course. It would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks.
