The City of Gold Coast Waste and Resource Recovery team is offering a full-time maintenance role across Arundel, Stapylton, Jacobs Well and Reedy Creek. You will operate small plant equipment, maintain pumps and outdoor areas and assist with material transport when required.
Mandatory licences include a C class licence and White Card, with MR and Bobcat/chainsaw credentials desirable. A reliable, team‑oriented candidate with a pro-active approach will thrive here.
The Waste and Resource Recovery falls under Environment, Heritage and Resilience Directorate and is responsible for maintaining Council’s Waste and Recycling Centres, including both active and closed landfill facilities.
You will be responsible for undertaking all general maintenance duties, operate small machinery (plant equipment), maintain pumps and outdoor vegetation clearing (mowing, whipper snipper). Having a medium ridged truck licence to assist with transporting materials is desirable. This position will work across multiple sites including Arundel, Stapylton, Jacobs Well and Reedy Creek.
