Job summary

All Lifting and Safety is looking for a hands-on Labourer to support site operations in the Melbourne area. The role involves manual labour, material handling, and adherence to safety plans required by clients.

You may operate plant and assist with equipment as directed by supervision, ensuring equipment is maintained and functional to prevent breakdowns. Candidates should be physically fit, eager to learn, and able to build strong relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• White Card and first aid training are required.
• Certifications in fire/gas safety are preferred where required.
• Traffic control experience or spotter role is an asset.
• Ability to follow safety plans and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strong client relationship and people management skills, with the proven ability to develop trust and credibility
• Deliver to set quality controls and job fulfilment as set by the client/s
• Work closely with client and team to deliver operational benchmarks
• Ensuring that all activity levels required to deliver performance indicators are met
• Follow up with client and staff issues as they arise
• Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture

All Lifting is a manufacturer , supplier and retailer of material handling equipment, lifting gear and working at heights equipment, we also offer service, repair and recertification and hirer.

Position Summary :

The Labourer is responsible for all manual work to complete tasks. This role may also include operating plant and plant equipment when requested by a supervisor. This position must work in line with company safety plans, procedures and non-negotiable's required by our clients. The position is also responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in good order to prevent breakdowns and stoppages.
