Job summary

CellCarta is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our on-site team in Baulkham Hills, NSW. You will process fresh samples and support laboratory experiments using cells, reagents and solution preparation, while maintaining inventory and labeling per SOPs.

Responsibilities include PBMC isolation, cryopreservation, receipt and logging of samples, and ensuring compliance with GLP/GCLP standards. A Diploma in Laboratory Sciences and at least 1 year in a lab are preferred.

Qualifications

• PBMC isolation (Ficoll or CPT) required.
• Work in a biosafety cabinet under sterile conditions.
• 1 year of laboratory experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process fresh samples and support lab experiments with cells, reagents, and solution preparation.
• Manage solutions, consumables, labels and inventory.
• Receive, log, label, and store samples and reagents per SOPs and LIMS.
• Support shipment preparation and document sample destruction.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; comply with GLP/GCLP guidelines.
