Job summary

CellCarta is seeking a Laboratory Technician at our Baulkham Hills, NSW site. You will process fresh samples, isolate PBMCs, and prepare cells and reagents while maintaining strict inventory control and SOP/LIMS compliance.

The role requires PBMC isolation expertise, sterile technique, and meticulous record keeping in a GLP/GCLP environment. This full-time, on-site position offers a dynamic team and opportunities to contribute to human health.

Qualifications

• Experience with PBMC isolation (Ficoll or CPT), cryopreservation and counting.
• Experience in a biosafety cabinet under sterile conditions.
• 1 year in a laboratory is an asset.
• Experience in a GLP/GCLP environment is an asset.
• Organized and rigorous with good record keeping.
• Dynamic and motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Process fresh samples and support laboratory experiments using cells, reagents and solutions.
• Receive, label, log, and store samples and reagents per SOPs and LIMS.
• Support shipment preparation and document sample destruction.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; adhere to GLP/GCLP guidelines.
