Zusammenfassung

Logicalis is seeking an experienced Senior L3 Network Engineer to join our global digital infrastructure operations, supporting cloud, AI, and HPC environments. You will operate in a 24x7, high-availability setting, handling complex troubleshooting and continual service improvement.

The role requires extensive experience in enterprise switching, data centre networks, security, VPNs, and incident management, with on-call rotations. Hybrid working in Sydney or Melbourne is offered.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years' experience in a Senior Network Engineer or Network Operations role.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise, managed services, cloud, critical infrastructure or data centre environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
• Experience working within ITIL-aligned support environments.
• Previous participation in 24x7 support and on-call rotations.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting or Infrastructure-as-Code technologies will be highly regarded.

• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex network incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent remediation activities.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster supporting critical Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.
• Manage network lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching and technology refresh programs.
• Support network security initiatives, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.
• Maintain operational documentation, technical standards and support runbooks.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors and service providers to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
• Drive continual service improvement, automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior L3 Network Engineer to join our client, a global operator of mission-critical digital infrastructure supporting next-generation cloud, AI, and high-performance computing environments.

Working within a highly available 24x7 operations environment, you will play a key role in maintaining, optimising and supporting critical network infrastructure that underpins large-scale data centre operations. This role is suited to a hands-on engineer who enjoys complex troubleshooting, operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support across enterprise and data centre network environments.

Ideal Background

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
