Job description

The Kurrek Project Officer is a key operational role within WWAC, supporting the coordination and delivery of Country and Cultural Heritage programs across Wamba Wemba Country. We are seeking an experienced and organised individual who can confidently support field operations, workforce planning and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build trusted relationships with staff, Elders, land managers and partner agencies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that protects Country, strengthens cultural authority and supports employment pathways for Wamba Wemba people. WWAC is a growing Traditional Owner organisation, and the right candidate will have opportunities to further develop their skills and take on increased responsibility as the Kurrek unit continues to expand.
