Job summary

Kmart Group is seeking a Department Manager to lead teams and deliver exceptional customer experiences through strong merchandising, replenishment, and service. Kmart Department Managers are crucial to our success, leading teams to deliver high standards of customer experience through effective merchandising, replenishment, and customer service.

Requiring strong product knowledge and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, whilst ensuring a safe and compliant store environment through effective process execution and team leadership.

As both process leaders and implementers of key business initiatives, they confidently navigate complexity to keep the store running smoothly and deliver strong results.

What you’ll be doing

• Leadership & Motivation – Support team decisions and promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture, involving others appropriately in team-based activities and projects.
• Strategic Thinking – Address process breakdowns with speed and attention to detail, using data, metrics, and benchmarks to drive effective solutions.
