Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking a Kitchenhand & Catering Assistant to join our premium casual team, supporting corporate kitchens and delivering hospitality services.

We offer $27.09 per hour with a 25% casual loading, and flexible shifts across Education, Corporate, Venues and similar sites. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of experience, be reliable and friendly, and able to meet food safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a Kitchenhand or Catering Assistant role.
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work across Education, Corporate, Venues and similar sites.

Kitchenhand & Catering Assistant

Hourly Rate: $27.09 + 25% casual loading

We are looking for experienced Catering Assistants and Kitchenhands to join our premium casual team, supporting corporate kitchens and delivering exceptional hospitality services.

THE POSITION

• Provide welcoming and efficient hospitality service across a range of locations


• Assist with basic food preparation, plating and meal service


• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment, crockery and catering items


• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and safe


• Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently

THE PERSON

• At least 1 year experience in a Kitchenhand or Catering Assistant role


• Friendly communicator with a team-first attitude


• Reliable, energetic and well-presented


• Comfortable working across Education, Corporate, Venues and similar sites


• Able to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
