Job summary

Novotel Surfers Paradise is seeking a casual kitchen support role to assist with dishwashing and light food preparation. You will help maintain sufficient equipment and keep outlets well supplied.

You will be responsible for cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to HACCP, ALLSafe, and WHS guidelines, with shifts across mornings and evenings, including weekends and public holidays. Working rights for Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day kitchen operations through dishwashing and basic food prep.
• Ensure a constant supply of clean utensils and equipment for all outlets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
• Assist chefs with food preparation as required.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and chemical handling procedures (HACCP, ALLSafe, WHS).
• Work on a rotating roster including AM/PM shifts, weekends and public holidays.
