Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of work safety practices; operating cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean utensils and dishes and store properly.
• Manage the tray wash section.
• Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling.
• Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas in a hygienic manner to HACCP standards.
• Clean and disinfect all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and storage areas including sweeping and mopping.
• Removal of rubbish, cardboard boxes and vegetable scraps to designated area.
• Clean kitchen walls, shelves and work benches daily.
• Maintain kitchen equipment so it is in good condition.
• Follow proper hygienic food handling practices and chemical procedures.
• Perform any other duties as directed by your Manager.
• Comply with all people safety practices and report issues promptly.
