Job summary

QT Hotels & Resorts in Sydney is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will assist senior chefs, maintain hygiene, and help minimize waste.

The role emphasizes food safety, a positive attitude, teamwork, and flexibility across shifts. Training will be provided to develop culinary skills and grow within the EVT hospitality network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as kitchen hand or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant or café.
• Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S standards.
• Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently.
• Skilled in minimizing waste through careful handling of food.
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts.
• Physically capable of manual duties such as lifting and standing.
• Commitment to professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Willingness to participate in training to grow within the team.
