Job summary

Artemus Group in Brisbane is seeking Kitchen Attendants to join our Events team on a casual basis. Youll help keep our kitchens clean, safe and stocked, supporting service across our venues.

The role requires weekday availability with late finishes (around 1am). Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required; in return youll gain opportunities and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Weekday availability with late finishes (around 1am).
• Team player who enjoys helping others and being part of a busy kitchen.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Experience working in a kitchen is great to have, but not essential.
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, HACCP and PPE highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen spaces, fridges, cool rooms and dry stores.
• Operate the dishwashing machine and keep equipment clean, sanitised and ready to go.
• Handle general pantry duties and help keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
• Report hazards or problems to management immediately and follow safe manual handling practices.
• Be a reliable, helpful presence on the team — pitching in wherever the kitchen needs it.
