Job summary

Eureka 89, Melbourne's premier events and dining space atop Eureka Tower, seeks a casual Kitchen Hand to assist our Chefs and keep the kitchen spotless and safe. You’ll be on your feet in a fast-paced environment, help with food preparation, and support service delivery.

The role involves lifting up to 20 kg, working across seven days with shifts up to 10 hours between 07:00 and 01:00. A pre-employment medical and police check may be required.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Safety Certificate required or willing to obtain upon commencement.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar kitchen hand role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean kitchen area and equipment in line with food safety guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation and support cheffing staff to ensure efficient service.
• Handle stock, lifts up to 20 kg, and perform repetitive culinary tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen with shifts across seven days.
