About the Role

We’re currently seeking a Kitchen Hand & Cleaner to join our team in a casual position, with potential to transition into permanent part-time.

In the Kitchen Hand role, you will:

• Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
• Deliver food and drinks with care and attention to resident preferences
• Collect and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment

In the Cleaner role, you will:

• Mop and vacuum floors, waste management, restock supplies
• Carry out routine and project cleaning tasks according to cleaning schedules
• Complete cleaning tasks according to infection prevention and control and health and safety requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A current Food Handler’s Certificate
• A valid National Police Check
• A strong understanding of infection control and kitchen hygiene
• Great time management and communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced team

Hours

• Kitchen shifts: 7.00am - 1.30pm and 3.00pm - 6.30pm.
• Cleaner shifts: 8.00am - 2.30pm.

*Please note that shifts will vary between cleaning and kitchen hand duties depending on operational requirements.

This is a casual position with the opportunity to become permanent part-time for the right candidate.
