Job summary

Next Gen Health and Lifestyle Clubs in Lyneham, Canberra, seeks a Kitchen Hand to join a small team. You will help with cleaning, dishwashing, stock, and basic food prep, in a premium club environment.

Flexible hours across a 7-day roster, early mornings, late nights and weekends; strong English, personal hygiene and service standards encouraged. The role provides a professional, supportive environment and a valued team culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager you will be a person who enjoys the challenge of a hands on role, thrives in an exclusive club environment and wants to make a difference ensuring food hygiene and health and safety compliance is maintained at all times.

Essential Criteria:

• Prior kitchen experience;
• Available to work early mornings, late nights and weekends;
• Takes impeccable pride in their appearance and personal hygiene;
• Adheres to exceptional service standards; and
• Holds a clear understanding of both written & spoken English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean kitchen;
• Wash dishes;
• Maintain kitchen;
• Assist with food preparation;
• Assist with clearing and maintaining lounge;
• Stock for daily business and maintain stock levels; and
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

The role requires you to work across a 7-day roster however please note:

• The spread of hours will be allocated in collaboration with you to suit the needs of both the club and you;
• You will not be required to work every weekend if this is your preference;
• You will be a valued team member and treated accordingly; and
• Your input and ideas will be heard and implemented.
