Job summary

Advantaged Care Group is recruiting for Kitchen Hands at Advantaged Care at Barden Lodge, a boutique 62-bed aged care residence in Barden Ridge. The role supports the production and delivery of meals to residents, on a part-time and casual basis.

Applicants should hold a Food Safety Certificate, have about 6 months’ kitchen experience (aged care preferred), and demonstrate strong communication, empathy, honesty and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate required.
• 6 months kitchen experience, preferably in aged care.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, honesty and loyalty are valued in the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the production and delivery of meals to residents.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety standards.
• Support residents with dietary needs and preferences.
• Be flexible to cover shifts and work part-time/casual hours.

is our beautiful boutique 62 bed aged care residence located in Barden Ridge (Sutherland Shire). The residence brings an unprecedented level of affordable luxury to Aged Care and is designed to create an inviting, comfortable, calm and peaceful environment for our residents and families to enjoy.

We are currently recruiting for Kitchen Hands on a part time and casual basis.

Ability to step up to the cook role 1-2 days a week

About The Role

As a Kitchen Hand you assist with the production and delivery of an amazing food experience to our residents in line with their preferences and dietary requirement.

What We Look For

• Food Safety Certificate.
• 6 months kitchen experience preferably in the aged care sector.
• А strong passion for food.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Hard Working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.

All applicants must be willing to provide a valid police check and undergo a pre-employment medical. The successful candidate will be required to have a flu vaccination in line with government direction.
