Job summary

Maroochy RSL on the Sunshine Coast is hiring a Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team. Your role will include cleaning duties, receiving deliveries, and some minimal food preparation in a fast-paced, customer-focused venue.

We value honesty, reliability and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. A police check may be required; some weekend/night shifts are included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• General washing up of all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
• Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are cleaned per policies and procedures.
• Check off and accept deliveries, ensure food is packaged correctly and temperature controlled.
• Pack away food and other items, store food according to procedures.
• Support the kitchen team.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Kitchen Hand. Responsible for kitchen cleaning duties, receiving deliveries and some minimal food preparation, the role requires a reliable, self-motivated person that maintains a positive and enthusiastic approach in everything they do.

What you'll do:

• General washing up of all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
• Ensure the kitchen and all equipment is cleaned in accordance with policies and procedures
• Check off and accept deliveries ensuring that food is packaged correctly and is temperature controlled
• Pack away food and other items delivered, storing food in accordance with procedures specifications
• Support the kitchen team
