Job summary

Journey Early Learning Epsom is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to support the preparation of nutritious, balanced meals for children in our care. You will assist with food prep, plating, dishwashing and keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a busy centre.

As part of the Journey team, you’ll work alongside educators and the Centre Chef, contribute to a positive centre culture, and learn about child nutrition and sustainable kitchen practices.

Qualifications

• CWCC (Current Working with Children Check) required or in progress.
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep for up to 152 children daily, including plating and service.
• Dishwashing and keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well‑stocked.
• Support the Centre Chef and maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Permanent Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 25 hours per week
