Job summary

Journey Early Learning Epsom is seeking a passionate Kitchen Hand to support our Centre Chef in preparing nutritious, balanced meals for children each day. This permanent part-time role offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a focus on food safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

You’ll assist with food preparation and plating, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly, contributing to a centre culture that values healthy eating and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Commitment to nutritious, balanced meals for children of all ages.
• WWCC current or in progress.
• Kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Centre Chef in preparing meals for up to 152 children daily.
• Assist with food prep, plating, and dishwashing.
• Keep the kitchen running efficiently and hygienically.
