Job summary

Accor Apartments & Realty is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to maintain cleanliness across dishware, utensils, and workspaces while adhering to strict hygiene standards. You will join a busy kitchen brigade, supporting the team in delivering quality dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning crockery and equipment with dishwashers and manual methods, rubbish removal, floor cleaning, and assisting with basic prep tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus.
• Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Adaptability to diverse shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers and manual methods.
• Remove rubbish, sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain hygiene.
• Disinfect and clean following proper chemical usage and safety protocols.
• Assist kitchen team with basic prep tasks (grating, peeling, chopping, garnishes, seasonings).

Purpose

As a Kitchen Attendant, your role is pivotal in maintaining the sparkle of our kitchen. Your main responsibilities involve upholding cleanliness, including dishware, utensils, and workspaces, all while strictly adhering to hygiene standards. You are an integral part of the kitchen brigade, collaborating seamlessly to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment, using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
• Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors
• Disinfect and clean, ensuring the proper sequence of chemical usage
• Provide valuable support to our kitchen team, including various tasks such as basic food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings.

Skills & Experience

• Having practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus
