Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's VIC Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre is seeking Café/Kiosk Attendants to deliver first class service to patrons and maintain the café’s appearance. Availability on weekends, nights (4pm–7:30pm) and school holidays is required.

You will handle cashier duties, promote healthy options, follow health and safety guidelines, and work with a friendly team. Food Handlers, First Aid and Working with Children checks are required.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly, energetic approach
• Barista and coffee making skills needed
• Food handling certificate required
• First Aid certificate (Workplace Level 2) required
• CPR certificate required
• Food handlers qualification required
• Police check required
• Working with Children Check required
• Flexibility during peak periods
• Availability on Saturdays and Sundays

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenish condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Use Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
• Promote the centre's services and programs
• Develop and maintain good relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including healthy options
• Be available mornings, evenings and weekends; hours may increase during peak periods

The Role

OurCafé/Kiosk Attendantsneed to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our Café/Kiosk Attendantsis to deliver first class services to ourpatrons ensuring it’s in line with ourMission, Vision and Values.

You must be available Weekends, Nights 4pm - 730pm an School Holidays.

Food Handlers required

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café

• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promotethe centres services and programs to ourpatrons
