Currimundi Campus on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland seeks an enthusiastic educator for our nursery in a family-owned service. This kindy teacher role is a job-share with a senior colleague and requires either a qualification or nearing completion of a degree.

Job description

We are seeking enthusiasticpassionate educator for our nursery in our family owned and operated service. Our service has an exceeding rating under A and R and offers above award wages as well as staff discount to offer the best support we can to our educators. No Vaccination requirement needed.

Kindy teacher to job share position with a kindy teacher who has been with the company for over 4 years. Must be qualified or nearly completed your degree.

Currimundi Campus is a long-term Family-Owned Business that supports their local community, encouraging families and educators in reaching our goals together. We are passionate about early childhood learning and making a difference in the community and children's lives. We have recently renovated 3 of our 4 separate yards (for separate age groups) as well as the internal building (including staff room) providing a beautiful new environment to work in. We also have an onsite chef who supplies all meals, along with many incursions including yoga and bush Kindy for our Kindy room.

You will need:

Have experience with younger children is an advantage

Current Blue Card (or willing to obtain)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)

Child protection certificate we will pay for.

Food safety and allergies certificate .

Knowledge of the EYLF and Regulations is an advantage

Have a passion for early education

Be friendly, loyal, honest and reliable

Ability to work within a team and unsupervised

Available to work Monday-Friday is an advantage (flexibility and shifts negotiability available)
