Job summary

Explorers Early Learning Wallan is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for the 4-Year-Old Kindergarten room. You will lead a play-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired program that sparks curiosity and supports children’s development, independence, and transition to school.

You will mentor Educators, build strong relationships with families, and champion child safety in a purpose-built setting with expansive outdoor spaces and Bush Kinder opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Full or provisional VIT registration.
• Minimum 3 years in an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher role.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Australian working rights and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program with a Reggio-inspired approach.
• Create engaging learning experiences to support development, confidence and school readiness.
• Build deep connections with children, families and the community.

Bring Your Passion and Expertise, You Will Hold:

• A Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• A minimum of 3 years in an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher position.
• Full or provisional VIT registration (mandatory).
• A genuine love for children, their development, and a commitment to child safety.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and the Reggio Emilia approach.
• First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training (Foundations of Child Safety Training).
• Australian working rights (Visa/Passport) and a valid Working with Children Check.
