Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration is required.
• Tertiary Early Childhood Education qualification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is desirable.
• Experience in early childhood settings or transferable knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong working relationships with funded kindergarten services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to manage problems and make decisions.
• Utilise department systems including the Kindergarten Information and Service Agreement Management systems.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with services using data and evidence to address needs related to educationally disadvantaged children.
• Foster development of collaborative relationships across the community.
• Understand current research and developments in the early childhood sector and identify implications.
