Job summary

The Y Australia is recruiting Kindergarten Co-Educators for Kirrip Kindergarten in Wollert and Eucalyptus Parade Kindergarten in Donnybrook, Melbourne. You will work with qualified teachers to deliver a play-based program, supporting learning, development and wellbeing in a supportive, not-for-profit setting.

Positions include Part-time 3–4 days/week from Term 1 2027 and Casual hours across 2026. Requires Cert III or Diploma, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and commitment to EYLF and child safety.

Qualifications

• WWCC and Police Checks required, including international check if applicable.
• Current First Aid and CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications preferred.
• Ability to share stories, foster creativity and warmth in young learners.

What's the opportunity?

We're looking for Kindergarten Co-Educators (Cert III or Diploma) to join our friendly teams at two of our kindergartens: Kirrip Kindergarten in Wollert and Eucalyptus Parade Kindergarten in Donnybrook. As a co-educator, you'll work alongside our kindergarten teachers to deliver a fun, play-based program for children. We have the following positions available across both kindergartens:

• Part-time: Kindergarten Co-Educators, 3 to 4 days per week commencing Term 1 2027. Opportunity to pick up additional casual hours in 2026 if desired.
