Job summary

Munro Footwear Group (MFG) is seeking a Product Developer to drive the development of Bobux, our children's footwear brand. You will oversee concepts through to production approval, collaborating with offshore suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality, fit and design accuracy for each season's Bobux range.

You will manage sample people and specs, coordinate fit sessions, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of comfort and performance for growing feet.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Footwear Product Development role - essential.
• Experience in children's footwear development - essential.
• Understanding of footwear construction, materials, fit and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing samples, product specifications and production requirements.
• Confidence working with offshore suppliers and manufacturers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve product, fit and quality issues.
• Excellent communication, administration and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple products and competing seasonal deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and confidence working across different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal children's footwear ranges from concept to approved production.
• Prepare detailed product specifications including materials, colours, leathers, finishes, trims and components.
• Manage the sampling and development process, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate fit sessions and ensure comfort, fit and function for growing feet.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production specifications and information.
• Work closely with offshore suppliers and manufacturers to monitor quality and production requirements.
• Collaborate with Buying, Procurement, Marketing and Wholesale to support range delivery.
