Job summary

Kelly+Partners Griffith is seeking a motivated accountant at the Griffith office to build strong foundations and grow technical skills with mentoring and training. Qualifications

• 0–3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice (recent graduates welcome).
• Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge, or a genuine eagerness to build it.
• Experience with APS accounting software (highly regarded but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG obligations across a range of client structures
• Work alongside Partners and senior team members to deliver great outcomes for clients
• Contribute to tax and advisory work for a diverse client portfolio
• Build and develop long-term client relationships through proactive, reliable service
• Liaise with the ATO and other statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training sessions, technical workshops, team meetings and social events
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Griffith office
