Praemium is a leading wealth management technology company listed on the ASX. We are seeking a Junior Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy team in an entry-level role with exposure to market research, data-driven analysis and executive reporting.

You will support the Strategy team with research, analysis and presentation activities to inform business decisions and advance strategic initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to interact with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in financial services, wealth management, consulting, research or analytics.
• A finance background is helpful but not essential.
• Interest in wealth management, analytical mindset and ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to support strategy development and business planning.
• Analyse data, identify insights and prepare clear summaries, reports and visuals.
• Prepare management and executive presentation materials.
• Assist with strategic initiatives and project-based discovery work.
• Contribute to reporting activities including board, client portfolio and sales pipeline reporting.
• Prepare graphs and presentations to communicate insights clearly.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and support business outcomes.

This is an opportunity to join our Strategy team in an entry-level role that offers exposure to market research, strategic projects, executive reporting and senior stakeholder presentations.

About the Role

As a Junior Strategy Analyst, you will support the Strategy team with research, analysis, reporting and presentation activities that help inform business decisions and progress key strategic initiatives. You will work across project-based modules, external market discovery, data-backed research and executive materials, developing a strong understanding of the wealth management landscape while building practical strategy capability.

What You'll Do

• Conduct market research to support strategy development and business planning.

• Support the preparation of management and executive presentation materials.
• Assist with strategic initiatives, product opportunity research and project-based discovery work.
• Contribute to reporting activities, including board, client portfolio and sales pipeline reporting.
• Prepare graphs, presentations and supporting materials that communicate insights clearly.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements and support business outcomes.

About You

You may be a recent graduate or have up to one year of experience in financial services, wealth management, consulting, research or analytics. A finance background is helpful but not essential. More important is your interest in wealth management, your analytical mindset and your ability to communicate complex information clearly.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in wealth management, strategy and financial services.
• Experience in data analytics, analysis or research through study, internships, project work or early-career employment.
• Exposure to market research, desktop research or business discovery activities.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data, graphs and reporting outputs.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, curious and self-starting approach, with the confidence to ask questions and take ownership.
• A commerce, business, finance, law, strategy or related degree will be highly regarded.
