Job summary

Goodwe in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Junior Engineer to join the team. The position is flexible in Australia with periods working from home and occasional travel.

This role would suit a recent university graduate or someone early in their career aiming for growth within the company. You will assist with tele- and on-site technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting PV string, Hybrid/storage inverter and BESS, and analyze PV plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.
• Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings
• Strong ability to analyse and solve problems independently.
• Reliable and self-motivated
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong Microsoft office skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and post sales support.
• Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.
• Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions
• Evaluating PV plant performance by studying operation data on a regular basis
• Pro-actively work with installers & retailers and provide them best-in class customer experience.
• Regular follow-ups on the technical issues and build a healthy relationship with installer & retailers.
