Job summary

Rgit Australia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer/Quantitative Developer to join its technology team. The role focuses on building and maintaining C#/.NET applications and data pipelines for real-time market data in a systematic hedge fund environment.

You will work with a small team of engineers and researchers, gaining exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS, Grafana, Python and MATLAB, with progression toward quantitative development or analysis based on performance and interest.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional software-development experience or a strong undergraduate degree in a related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C#/.NET applications with exposure to SQL, NoSQL, AWS, Grafana, Python and MATLAB.
• Build and maintain systems that collect, process and distribute real-time market and trading data.
• Contribute to implementation, testing, monitoring and production support of trading models and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and quantitative researchers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing and the continuous improvement of production systems.
