BAI Communications in Australia is seeking a Junior RF Engineer to contribute to the design, deployment and optimisation of critical communications networks for mining, resources and enterprise clients. You will work with an experienced team to gain hands-on experience in Digital Radio and Private LTE across diverse sites.

This role suits a recent graduate or 1–3 year RF professional, offering exposure to RF planning, site surveys, testing and documentation while collaborating with engineers,

Qualifications

• Degree in telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in RF, telecom or wireless engineering, or a recent graduate with relevant exposure.
• Foundational RF knowledge and wireless tech understanding.
• Interest in Digital Radio, Private LTE and critical communications networks.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist design and engineering of Digital Radio and Private LTE network solutions.
• Support RF coverage analysis, propagation modelling and performance assessments.
• Participate in site surveys, audits and technical investigations.
• Prepare engineering documentation, reports and design drawings.
• Assist commissioning, testing and optimisation of networks.
• Troubleshoot RF and network issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ensure activities align with company standards and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical innovation.
