Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of work accuracy.
• Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients when required.
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery.
• Willingness to continue professional development.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently performing a range of radiographic examinations.

• Operating radiographic equipment and maintaining detailed records of imaging procedures
• Strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols and safety standards
• Communicating effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout all medical imaging procedures
• Assisting senior radiographers and radiologists with more complex imaging procedures as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised imaging suite environment
