Job summary

Vision X-Ray Group in Revesby (NSW) seeks an experienced radiographer to join our busy team. Mammography experience highly regarded. The role is primarily full-time, with occasional Saturday work; part-time could be considered for exceptional applicants. You’ll work with a friendly team and have opportunities to train in Ultrasound and MRI as future steps, with CPD support and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Radiation license and AHPRA registration.
• Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Radiography.
• Ability to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high levels of patient care and service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, referrers and staff.
• Promote highest quality and safety standards.
• Work across General X-ray, DEXA, Dental & CT modalities as required.

The position is preferably full-time however exceptional part-time candidates will also be considered.

Key accountabilities include:

• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service to our patients and clients
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and fellow staff
• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standard
• Demonstrating flexibility by working across General Xray, DEXA, Dental & CT modalities as required

Key Selection Criteria:

• Excellent English and superior communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both in an unsupervised capacity and as a member of a proactive and collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrable experience in all aspects of general radiography (mammography experience desired but not essential) , imaging services, comprehensive understanding (willing to learn) of Information Systems and PACS
• Current NSW Radiation license and AHPRA professional registration
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and other staff
