Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners in Sydney CBD is seeking a Junior Property Legal Secretary to join a busy property law team. The role suits someone with a couple of years of legal support experience who wants to advance in property law.

You will work closely with experienced practitioners, gaining exposure to diverse property transactions while receiving mentorship to develop professionally in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Legal PA.
• Previous experience supporting property law or conveyancing matters.
• Experience using PEXA is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing correspondence, contracts and legal documentation.
• Managing files, matter administration and document management.
• Liaising with clients, agents, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Diary management and coordinating meetings.
• Assisting with conveyancing and property transactions.
• Using PEXA to facilitate electronic settlements.
• Billing, file opening and general administrative support.
• Providing assistance across the wider property team as required.
