Job summary

Draft Building Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Junior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from award to handover in Sydney, balancing contracts administration with hands-on project delivery.

The role is office and site-based with occasional project visits, requiring 2+ years in construction, strong negotiation, and a solid understanding of Australian standards and NSW legislation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end across commercial, residential and government works (minimum 2+ years).
• Strong understanding of contracts administration and project delivery in construction.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards contracts and NSW construction legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through to handover (commercial, industrial and small civil works).
• Lead head contract and subcontract management.
• Letting and negotiation of subcontracts and supply agreements.
• Handle variations, progress claims, EOTs, and RFI management.
• Monitor cost control, forecasting, budgets and cashflow.
• Program and perform short-term planning with site teams.
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients.
• Ensure quality, safety and environmental compliance.
