Job summary

Civelite in Geelong is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to support construction projects from planning to delivery, working closely with a dynamic team to ensure quality and safety.

You will coordinate site activities, assist with ITPs, cost reporting, and progress tracking while developing engineering skills in a fast-paced civil construction environment in the Geelong region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure delivery per plans and specs.
• Support and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Evaluate and report variations and contract scope changes.
• Report and track project costs and liaise with accounts.
• Occasionally perform site duties to gain deeper responsibilities.
• Lead on-site oversight from start to finish and complete ITPs.

The Role

Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.

Leading a momentous movement towards a strong safety culture.

Evaluation and reporting of variation and contract scope works.

Reporting and recording of project costs and liaise with accounts.

Site works when required to gain a better knowledge of their responsibilities.

The Requirements

Completed a Civil Engineering degree.

Have a strong base of organizational skills that are fluently implemented into your day to day.

Display and recognize proficient computer hardware and software use and implementing into weekly/monthly programming.
