Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Guides to join The Tops Conference Centre in Stanwell Tops. Casual roles with potential for future fixed-term contracts, leading and supervising outdoor programs for school-aged participants.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership (SIS30619) or equivalent (or be working towards it), be available 7 days, and ideally hold a First Aid certificate and Working with Children’s Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership (SIS30619) or equivalent, or commitment to obtain one.
• Available to work across 7 days a week.
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
• Hold a valid Working with Children's Check.
• Eager to engage participants with program outcomes.
• Have a learning mindset and be a strong communicator.
• Commitment to safety and an adaptable, positive personality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a range of outdoor programs for school-aged participants.
• Ensure participant safety and manage risk across activities.
• Engage and support participants to achieve program outcomes.

Do you have a passion for the Outdoors? The Tops Conference Centre is looking for enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Guides to join our growing team. We are seeking passionate Outdoor Activity Guides to join our close-knit team to lead and supervise a range of outdoor based programs catering predominately to school aged participants. Several casual positions are currently available, with opportunity for fixed term contracted employment in the future.

The Essentials

• Qualified with a minimum of a Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership (SIS30619) or equivalent, or a commitment to obtain one. (NB. Wesley Vocational Institute, in partnerships with The Tops, delivers a Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership (SIS30619) with 2 intakes annually).
• Available to work across 7 days a week
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (preferable)
• Hold a valid Working with Children's Check
• Eager to engage participants with program outcomes.
