Job summary

ABC Castings is seeking a junior process engineer for a broad-foundry role in Riverwood, NSW. You will work on the foundry floor while leading digitisation of technical records, improving process control and progressing the business toward ISO 9001 certification.

Qualifications

Degree in process, mechanical, manufacturing or materials engineering.
Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Experience with ERP or MRP systems and production scheduling software.

Responsibilities

Digitising the pattern library, SOPs and technical drawings, replacing paper records with a searchable, backed-up system.
Identify and implement process improvements across non-ferrous casting, finishing and materials handling.
Develop quality assurance plans and supporting documentation toward ISO 9001 certification.
Assist with day-to-day operation of the foundry alongside the production team.
Evaluate ERP options to link quoting, scheduling and inventory for reliable job costing.
