Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Junior Process Engineer - Industrial to join our Brisbane team. You will support process engineering delivery across energy and resources projects, working with guidance from experienced engineers to develop your technical capability through practical project experience.

Responsibilities include preparing process deliverables such as calculations, datasheets, PFDs and P&IDs, completing tasks on time and in line with project plans, and coordinating inputs to support safe,

Qualifications

• Qualification in Process or Chemical Engineering with engineering society eligibility.
• Foundational knowledge of process engineering principles.
• Ability to apply technical skills under supervision and deliver accurate outputs.
• Strong organisation and communication skills for coordinating inputs and tasks.
• Exposure to process engineering software such as Aspen or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering delivery across energy and resources projects.
• Coordinate assigned tasks and build technical capability through project work.
• Prepare process deliverables including calculations, datasheets, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Complete tasks in line with project plans, timeframes and quality requirements.
• Apply established methods and tools, check work and seek guidance when required.
• Coordinate inputs to support safe, timely, well-organised project delivery.
• Identify routine issues, elevate risks and apply feedback to improve quality.
• Support client and stakeholder interactions through clear communication and reliable delivery.
